Priestly Ordination of HTOS Alumnus at St. Elizabeth’s Parish in Rocky Hill, NJ
On July 17-18, His Grace, Bishop Luke of Syracuse made an Archpastoral visit to the parish of the Venerable New Martyr Grand Duchess Elizabeth in Rocky Hill, NJ to celebrate the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy for the parish’s patronal feast day. Celebrating with His Grace at the Divine Liturgy were:
- Archpriest Serge Lukianov (rector of St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Howell NJ and dean of New Jersey)
- Archpriest David Straut (parish rector)
- Archpriest Leonid Goferman (rector of Holy Virgin Protection Church in New Brunswick, NJ)
- Protodeacon Seraphim Komleski (parish cleric)
- Protodeacon Michael Pavuk (cleric of Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY)
- Deacon Stephanos Bibas (cleric of Joy of All Who Sorrow Church in Philadelphia, PA), and
- Deacon Patrick Hinds (parish cleric).
During the Divine Liturgy after the Cherubic Hymn, His Grace ordained Deacon Patrick Hinds to the Holy Priesthood.
Fr. Patrick is an alumnus of Holy Trinity Seminary, having graduated with his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) in the class of 2023.
After spending the following week serving daily services at Holy Trinity Monastery, Fr Patrick will return to St Elizabeth’s Parish to serve as the 2nd priest under the guidance of Archpriest David Straut.
