For many a number of decades now, it has been a tradition in parishes of ROCOR worldwide to hold this plate collection on the Sunday that falls the closest to the Feast of the Three Hierarchs (January 30/February 12). This year, this collection is set for this upcoming Sunday, February 2/15, which is both the Great Feast of the Meeting of the Lord in the Temple and Meatfare Sunday.

Although we have just recently expressed our gratitude for, and announced the results of the 2025 Year-End Appeal, fundraising to support the Seminary is a continual, year-round effort that requires the consistent generosity of the faithful, not simply to attain and maintain the financial solvency of the Seminary, but to enable it to grow and prosper, and to do so without being a financial burden to the monastery. Therefore, this annual plate collection officially launches our 2026 Jordanville Seminary Annual Fund drive.
