The feast of the Three Hierarchs, the patronal feast of the seminary, was celebrated on Sunday February 12, 2023 at Holy Trinity Monastery Cathedral in Jordanville, NY.  With 2023 marking the 75th anniversary of the seminary, this feast day also began a year-long celebration that will include commencement 2023, as well as several feasts throughout the year, culminating in the main anniversary event from September 15-17, 2023.

AXIOS to Priest Peter James (M.Div. Class of 2022). With the blessing of His Eminence, Metropolitan NICHOLAS, First Hierarch of ROCOR, Subdeacon Peter James was ordained to the Holy Diaconate on Saturday, November 19, and to the Holy Priesthood on Sunday, November 20 at St. John the Russian Orthodox Church in Ipswich, MA by His Eminence, Metropolitan JONAH. May our Lord grant Fr. Peter and his family many years of service in Christ’s Holy Vineyard!

On Saturday, Jan 30/Feb 12, the Holy Orthodox Church celebrated the Feast of the Synaxis of the Three Hierarchs; SS Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian and John Chrysostom. These three great hierarchs and luminaries of the Church are considered as the patrons of every Orthodox Theological Seminary, and therefore this feast is recognized as the patronal feast of Holy Trinity Orthodox Seminary.

On 12-6/19, the Holy Church celebrated the Feast of the Holy Hierarch Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra in Lycia, the Wonderworker. The monastery community was also blessed to celebrate important milestones of three of Holy Trinity Seminary’s very own alumni.
