Archpriest Vladimir von Tsurikov lectures on Dostoevsky at Amherst College

On September 20, 2013, V.Rev. Archpriest Vladimir von Tsurikov met with undergraduate students at Amherst College, who study Russian literature.

At the invitation of Professor Stanley Rabinowitz, Professor of Russian Literature, Fr. Vladimir spoke on "Dostoevsky and the Russian Monastic Tradition”, in order to provide additional background on one of Dostoevsky’s greatest novels, “The Brothers Karamazov”.

In his comments, he  introduced some of the cultural and religious background that serve as an important part in Dostoevsky’s novel.
