Schema-Archdeacon Ambrose, who graduated from Holy Trinity Seminary in 1982 and fell-asleep-in-the-Lord in San Francisco on Sunday, November 26, was buried in the Monastery cemetery on Friday, December 1.

Led by Archimandrite Luke, priests (including Archdeacon Ambrose’s brother, Archpriest Michael Taratuchin from Utica, New York), deacons, monks, family, and friends of Archdeacon Ambrose gathered in Holy Trinity Cathedral for the burial service to commemorate the beloved monk's repose. The church was overflowing with the faithful dedicated to praying for God's mercy and for the repose of Fr. Ambrose's soul into paradise.

Attendees then participated in a sober and contemplative procession from the church to the cemetery up the hill as the cathedral’s bells tolled in the background. The burial service followed at the Holy Trinity cemetery.
