This Wednesday, Jan 30/Feb 12, The Holy Orthodox Church celebrates the Feast of the Synaxis of the 3 Hierarchs; Sts. Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian and John Chrysostom. Tuesday, Jan 29/Feb 11: All Night Vigil: 7:00 pm
Wednesday, Jan 30/Feb 12: Greeting of the Bishop: 9:00 am
The Hierarchal Divine Liturgy will be served by Archbishop Peter of Chicago and Mid America. His Eminence will be co-served by His Grace, Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan and His Grace, Bishop Luke of Syracuse, Abbot of Holy Trinity Monastery and Rector of the Seminary.
Immediately after Wednesday’s Divine Services, a meal will be served in the monastery trapeza, followed by a tea/reception in the seminary building, all of which the public is invited to attend. Following the afternoon tea, the Holy Trinity Alumni Association will hold a brief organizational meeting, led by the director, Fr Stefan Pavlenko (HTOS class ’71). All HTOS alumni in attendance for the feast are highly encouraged to attend this meeting as well.
