Holy Trinity Orthodox Seminary’s upcoming Patronal Feast and Alumni meeting.

This Wednesday, Jan 30/Feb 12, The Holy Orthodox Church celebrates the Feast of the Synaxis of the 3 Hierarchs;  Sts. Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian and John Chrysostom. Whereas these three great hierarchs and luminaries of the Church are considered as the patrons of every Orthodox Seminary, the schedule of services in Jordanville surrounding this feast is as follows.

Tuesday, Jan 29/Feb 11: All Night Vigil: 7:00 pm

Wednesday, Jan 30/Feb 12: Greeting of the Bishop: 9:00 am

The Hierarchal Divine Liturgy will be served by Archbishop Peter of Chicago and Mid America. His Eminence will be co-served by His Grace, Bishop Nicholas of Manhattan and His Grace, Bishop Luke of Syracuse, Abbot of Holy Trinity Monastery and Rector of the Seminary.

Immediately after Wednesday’s Divine Services, a meal will be served in the monastery trapeza, followed by a tea/reception in the seminary building, all of which the public is invited to attend. Following the afternoon tea, the Holy Trinity Alumni Association will hold a brief organizational meeting, led by the director, Fr Stefan Pavlenko (HTOS class ’71). All HTOS alumni in attendance for the feast are highly encouraged to attend this meeting as well.
