On June 29/July 12, the Feast of the Holy, Glorious, and All-Praised Leaders of the Apostles, Peter and Paul, His Grace, Bishop Luke of Syracuse, Abbot of Holy Trinity Monastery and Rector of the Seminary (HTS Class ’78) was honored by the monastery brotherhood, and the seminary and local communities for celebrating 40 years since His Grace’s ordination to the Holy Priesthood in 1981. Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal (Member of the HTS Board of Trustees and Class of ’84) joined the community and led the Divine Services for the Feast. Several days earlier, on June 24/ July 7, the Feast of the Nativity of the Holy Glorious Prophet, Forerunner, and Baptist of the Lord, John, His Eminence also celebrated 25 years since his consecration to the Episcopate, which took place in Jordanville in 1996.
