On 12-6/19, the Holy Church celebrated the Feast of the Holy Hierarch Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra in Lycia, the Wonderworker. The monastery community was also blessed to celebrate important milestones of three of Holy Trinity Seminary’s very own alumni.

During the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, His Grace, Bishop Luke of Syracuse, ordained Hierodeacon Theodore (Stanway HTS Class '17 and '21), Deputy Dean of Students, to the Holy Priesthood. Also, Father Deacon Andrei Psarev (HTS Class '95), Seminary Professor of Canon Law and Russian Church History, and Director of Undergraduate Studies, was elevated by His Grace, with the blessing of the Synod of Bishops, to the rank of Protodeacon. In addition, Protodeacon Victor Lochmatow (HTS Class '67), Associate Professor Emeritus of Russian Literature, marked 47 years of ordination to the Holy Diaconate Многая лета to Hieromonk Theodore, Protodeacon Victor and Protodeacon Andrei!
