Around twenty men from Saint Tikhon of Moscow Orthodox Church in Blountville, TN spent the weekend of 6th - 8th October at Holy Trinity Monastery. On Saturday 7th October, the faculty and seminarians of Holy Trinity Orthodox Seminary hosted the men for a special spiritual talk in the seminary hall, followed by refreshments and fellowship.

Father John Boddecker, Senior Lecturer, Department of Scriptural Studies and Exegesis and Director of Graduate Studies at HTOS, delivered a lectured entitled "Quit Yourselves Like Men: A Look at Orthodox Manhood and Fatherhood." Following an extensive Q&A session, the seminarians and pilgrims came together for conversation and fellowship, accompanied by pizza and ice cream.

The faculty and seminarians of HTOS encourage more men's groups to visit us and look forward to hosting similar events in the future.
