New book offers Orthodox Christian approaches to a post-Christian society

Holy Trinity Seminary Press is pleased to announce the publication of Healing Humanity: Confronting our Moral Crisis. This collection offers the perspectives of fifteen Orthodox Christian scholars and writers, drawn from their presentations at a conference hosted at Holy Trinity Seminary in March of 2019, Chastity, Purity, Integrity — Orthodox Anthropology and Secular Culture. The conference and this publication were spearheaded by V. Rev. Archpriest Alexander F.C. Webster, Ph.D., Dean Emeritus of Holy Trinity Seminary, Deacon Paul Kentigern Siewers, Ph.D., and Prof. David Ford, Ph.D.

Among the contributors are NY Times bestselling author Rod Dreher, Frederica Matthewes-Green, Dr David Bradshaw, Fr Chad Hatfield, and Fr Peter Heers, and others. Also notable is the participation of representatives from three Orthodox Christian seminaries in North America — the host, HTOS; St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary (OCA); and St. Tikhon’s Orthodox Theological Seminary (OCA). Collectively, these authors remind us that it is only through our participation in the life of Christ, God who became man, that we can find the healing of our humanity through the restoration in us of His image, in which we were formed at the beginning of time.

This book is available worldwide in print and digital formats. Full details, a table of contents, and purchasing options are available at the publisher’s website. In addition, a pre-publication discount is available directly from the publisher before October 1st.
